Monday, August 9 Mixtape Atlanta and Criminal Records presented a very special screening at The Plaza Theatre of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. The movie is the latest effort from director Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) and stars Michael Cera, as the title character, and Jason Schwartzman. After the screening, Wright, Cera, and Schwartzman made a surprise visit for an interactive Q&A with the audience.
"Scottaholics" started lining up outside The Plaza for the screening at 4:30PM that afternoon and the line ended up wrapped around the building. What an unexpected turnout. Way to represent our city in a big way, Atlanta!Check out photos from the Q&A, here!The next day, fans that were unable to attend the screening the night before, because of long lines had a chance to come meet the stars and get their favorite Scott Pilgrim memorabilia signed by Cera, Schwartzman, and Wright at Criminal Records.
