Wednesday, June 30 The Fat Boy Chronicles has its Atlanta debut at The Plaza Theatre. The screening sold-out in less than a week from when tickets went on sale, and it is sure to be a memorable night at the iconic Atlanta cinema landmark. The film will start exactly at 7:30PM and the red carpet welcome and book signing will start at 7:00PM. Immediately following the premiere, join cast, crew, fans, and featured bands from the movie's soundtrack at Vinyl. Doors open at 9:00PM and tickets will be available at the door for $8 until capacity is reached. Don't miss performance's by All Get Out, Weapons of Audio, and Club Awesome.

Tonight Vinyl is hosting a stellar lineup of pop-rock artists not to be missed. Among those slated to perform is Atlanta's The Well Reds. Composed of seasoned musicians and a uniquely distinctive sound, The Well Reds’ tailored orchestration of emotional yet mature pop anthems will have you humming the melody and singing the lyrics just after one listen. Currently finishing production on their next album, The Well Reds will be previewing many of their new songs during their Vinyl performance. FAT BOY Movie Premiere After-Party & Concert

New Modern Skirts Song
This Saturday June 19, Modern Skirts is playing a long overdue Atlanta show at The Earl with The Features. The Athens band has been hard at work on new music, including Happy 81 EP out July 6 and a full length album due out this fall. Incorporating gritty vocals, infectious beats, and an overall new raw sound, Modern Skirts is redefining their sound as well as the best in what Southeast music has to offer. MidSummer Music Festival
Atlanta's outdoor festival season is in full swing and one of the most anticipated ones is MidSummer Music Festival in Candler Park. Last year, Guster and Rusted Root headlined and this year the organizers have pulled together another great lineup. Park gates open at noon and the event is FREE. Wristbands will be available for purchase to drink alcoholic beverages for those 21+. Wristbands to drink are $5 before 5PM and $10 after 5PM. All proceeds from wristband sales benefit the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization. Mixtape Atlanta will be on location with sponsors 790 The Zone and Vitamin Water conducting interviews with the bands.

Groovy Situation
Friday, June 11 Yacht Rock Revue docked at Variety Playhouse for a two-night stand. Friday the band kicked off the Summer Party Season with a Night of 70's Summer Jams.
