The song list for Night Six of 500 Songs for Kids included some of the most diverse lineups yet. Songs by The Strokes, Duke Ellington, Coldplay, and Jimi Hendrix were performed by an amazing group of passionate performers. Stokeswood added intensity and harder rock riffs to Coldplay's "Yellow," and Paul Warner and Vanessa Olivarez turned Oasis' "Wonderwall" into a tender moving duet. Although the genres of songs covered Tuesday night were quite diverse, the emotional intensity ran high throughout the night.
